This privacy statement applies to the use of the ASD Service App (hereinafter also referred to as "ASD App"). The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. In this privacy statement, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our ASD App.
In the communication between the ASD App and the ASD aspirating smoke detector, data is recorded on the ASD aspirating smoke detector during operation. This data can support the user with maintenance as well as warning and troubleshooting. Only authenticated and authorised users of the ASD App have access to this data. Unauthorised access by third parties is ruled out. The user can share the data with customer support if they require assistance.
The following data is stored on the ASD aspirating smoke detector during operation:
To use the ASD App, a valid account in the cloud managed by Schrack Seconet is required. The user name and password assigned there are used to log in to the ASD App. The following user data is stored in the cloud:
The user name and password are checked for legitimacy and validity in the cloud. The account data is required in order to identify the user during operation and it is not evaluated. If the account is deactivated, the user can request the manufacturer to permanently delete the data.
Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of contract fulfilment in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The data is stored exclusively for the duration of the contractual relationship. After its termination, the data will be deleted, taking into account statutory retention obligations, unless there is further consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in longer storage.
The data is stored in a Schrack Seconet data centre in Switzerland. According to the adequacy decision of the European Commission, Switzerland is considered a third country with an adequate level of data protection within the scope of Art. 45 GDPR. Data is stored in compliance with high technical and organisational security standards and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
Data transmission between the ASD App and the cloud is encrypted. Identity access management and two-factor authentication protect data from unauthorised access.
No personal data is passed on to third parties outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. In the event of a necessary transfer within the Swiss Securitas Group, the appropriate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 para. 3 GDPR.
Changes to this privacy statement may be necessary from time to time, for example due to the further development of our application or due to changes in legislation. We therefore reserve the right to change the privacy statement at any time. Consequently, we recommend that you review this privacy statement regularly.
You have the right to information, rectification, deletion, restriction, data transmission, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you have the option of lodging a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
